Sketchbook Sunday: Portrait Progress

Watercolor with orange. #lunchtimefactory
I have been working on some of the sketches I have been making on portraits from this post and painting them with my watercolor paints. This is the progress so far, and I am really liking it.

Sketchbook Sunday: Some Girls and Portraits

Lunchtime #sketchbook #illustration #art
When I am at lunch, I like to fill my time with doodles, making lockets, or playing some words with friends. I have been drawing lately, and here are some of my sketches for some art shows I am working on. I like to make different girls and fashion them in cute outfits. They are going different places, like on a walk or to a picnic.

Some #drawing going on.

Folk girls.
These are some of the small drawings these portraits came from.

Some from my sketchbook.

Some animal portraits.
And I also made some small animal portraits that I have been dreaming up. Maybe these can become some watercolor drawings or one inch buttons?

Sketchbook Sunday – Drawing Dolls

Recently I have been drawing dolls to get ready to draw more people. Here are some pages of my sketchbook!

I began drawing simple sort of rag dolls, then I was inspired by my Blythe doll collection, Pippi Longstocking, and vintage dolls.

I love drawing their clothes! I love looking at fashion in magazines and on Pinterest. I am always looking at vintage and modern clothes, and kids clothes.

I hope you liked the peek into my sketchbook for this week!
